Though he doesn't realize he is learning all of this, as he searches for clues, solving puzzles, and cracking the case.

He is becoming more confident in his learning abilities, willing to try differant things and yes becoming more independent. The only real draw back is the game doesn't change much from spooky, spookier, and spooktacular it just requires more Scooby snacks.
